About Dr. Diamanti
Dr. Ramza-Anastasia Diamanti is a highly respected ophthalmic surgeon with internationally recognized expertise in cataract, refractive, and presbyopia-correcting procedures. A graduate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Medical School, where she ranked in the top 1% of her class, she has built a distinguished career in both clinical practice and surgical innovation.
She currently serves as Head of the Surgical Department at the Ophthalmological Institute of Athens (OMMA), performing more than 1,000 cataract surgeries and over 100 refractive procedures annually. Her work integrates cutting-edge technologies—including femtosecond laser, trifocal and EDOF lenses, and 3D surgical guidance—ensuring precision, safety, and optimal outcomes for her patients.
Dr. Diamanti is also a Key Opinion Leader for Alcon, serves on international advisory boards, and lectures frequently at leading global congresses including ESCRS, ASCRS, and AAO. Through her private practice in Chalandri, she welcomes patients from Greece and abroad, offering high-tech diagnostics and personalized care.
