Dr. Alexia Mareti is a leading cardiologist with extensive expertise in clinical, preventive, and interventional cardiology. A graduate of the “Ovidius” University School of Medicine in Constanța, she completed her full cardiology training at the Therapeutic Clinic of Alexandra General Hospital in Athens, where she later served as Fellow in Interventional Cardiology at its Hemodynamic Laboratory through the Hellenic Cardiological Society.
She holds a PhD with Honors from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where her research focused on vascular inflammation and subclinical atherosclerosis in coronary artery disease. Her work has been published in major international journals, including European Journal of Preventive Cardiology, European Journal of Nutrition, and Journal of Cardiovascular Medicine.
Known for her precision, scientific rigor, and approachable style, Dr. Mareti blends evidence-based cardiology with a personalized, human approach. She is deeply committed to empowering patients—especially women—to take control of their heart health through prevention, education, and trust.
