Six years ago, my father was misdiagnosed with Alzheimer’s. A diagnosis that took away his driving license, his dignity, and nearly his life. As a physician, I saw what others missed: they didn’t know my dad. They didn’t see his story, his medications, his mind. I spent four agonizing months navigating second opinions and re-testing until the truth was clear: he did not have Alzheimer’s. But had I not intervened, he would be another statistic—sedated, immobilized, and forgotten. Stories like my father’s aren’t rare—they are the norm. That’s why I founded HealthScaled™: to put an end to dismissal, misdiagnosis, and disconnection. I have recruited like-minded doctors who treat every patient like their own family.
